Set up follow-up automations

Who it’s for: Managers
Where: Settings → Automations
Before you start: Permission to edit workspace settings and active teammates to own the work.

  1. Read what each preset does before enabling it.
  2. For When an inquiry arrives, enable the preset, set Assign to, select a Backup owner if appropriate, and choose the Task deadline basis.
  3. Review When nobody has responded in time and its fallback owner.
  4. Configure the overdue digest, deal-stage task and customer-reply reminder presets as needed. Choose the stage and timing where those controls appear.
  5. After a matching event occurs, check the preset’s run count and the actual task or notification it created.

The selected preset shows a run and the intended owner can see the resulting work.

  • These presets create internal assignments, tasks and notifications; they do not send messages to customers.
  • not fired yet means there is no recorded run. An enabled checkbox alone is not delivery evidence.
  • Missing or unavailable owners can leave an inquiry unassigned. Review Today and repair ownership.
  • If the response reminder does not run, ask an administrator to check service enablement as well as the workspace preset.
